Rice is an excellent source of carbohydrates, calories and proteins. It has very low cholesterol and sodium levels. Minerals in terms of recommended daily intake are dominated by manganese and iron but also contains quite some selenium. Phosphorus, zinc, copper and calcium are also present in good quantities. We can find some vitamins, majority of group B and E. It also contains very good amounts of glucan, which positively affects immunity.
